Job Description
R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Technical Development Research Associate II in South San Francisco, CA.
Your main responsibilities as a Technical Development Research Associate II:
RMG, in the Cell Culture and Bioprocess Operations department, is responsible for providing support to pre-Early Stage Research to Early Development projects with high-throughput protein production from mammalian transient cultures.
We are looking for a motivated candidate with cell culture and sterile technique experience to join our team to enable protein production.
The primary functions of will include maintaining seed train cultures and performing transfections in CHO and HEK293 cells in scales ranging from 1mL to 25L have harvesting the HCCF.
Experience with liquid handlers and automation and/ or experience with Bioreactors is preferable.
The additional responsibilities associated with these functions include: equipment maintenance, reagent preparation, lab management, data management, and troubleshooting.
What we are looking for in a Technical Development Research Associate II:
B.S (with 0-4yrs relevant experience) or M.S. (with 0-2yrs relevant experience) in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related fields
Suspension adapted mammalian cell culture (CHO and/or HEK293)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have strong collaborative skills.
State-of-the-art transient and stable protein expression experience
Relevant bioreactor experience

Pay Scale:
$82,243 $106,038 (Dependent on Experience)
