Senior Research Associate

We are seeking a SENIOR RESEARCH ASSOCIATE to assist the high-throughput screen to uncover novel substrates of E3 ligase complex as novel drug candidates for the treatment of various cancers. Specific job duty includes the following: 1) Molecular cloning and generation of stable cell lines; 2) Perform high-throughput screen, quality control and data upload; 3) Utilize CRISPR technology to determine the therapeutic relevance of novel oncology targets. The successful candidate will work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment, and will have the opportunity to work closely with discovery project teams and scientists across the Oncogenesis TRC functional areas.
Bachelor or master's degree in a scientific discipline with 3-6 years of wet lab research experience
Experience with assay development, molecule cloning, flow cytometry, western blot, lentiviral/retroviral infection and stable cell line construction
Excellent time management, organizational skills and multitasking, and math skills for routine calculation
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
