Job Description
R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Scientist I, II or SR in Pleasanton, CA.
Your main responsibilities as a Scientist I, II or SR:
Works under general supervision, to conduct and monitor laboratory experiments utilizing established and published procedures, and technical and theoretical understanding.
Makes recommendations to resolve problems encountered during experimental procedures.
Assumes responsibility for the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of experimental results.
Summarizes experimental results, and reviews conclusions with supervisor/project leader.
Communicates results of experiments in the form of reports and presentations.
What we are looking for in a Scientist I, II or SR:
Sci I/II: Minimum (required): Ph.D./Master s/Bachelor s in life sciences, chemical sciences, or related scientific fields. Typically 0 to 3 years of relevant industry experience/Preferred: More than 1 year of relevant industry experience.
Senior Scientist: Minimum (required): Ph.D./Master s/Bachelor s in life sciences, chemical sciences, or related scientific field with 0/2/5+ years relevant experience/Preferred: More than 1 year of relevant industry experience.
Ability to design and execute relevant laboratory experimentation and determine next steps within the context of overall project goals and direction.
Subject to OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen Standard Routinely handle blood, blood products, body fluids or other potentially infectious materials
Subject to respiratory protection standard Work with potential hazardous chemicals

Pay Scale:
$64,396 $110,240 (Dependent on Experience)
