Job Description
R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Scientist I/II - Oligo Purification in Pleasanton, CA.
Your main responsibilities as a Scientist I/II - Oligo Purification:
Purification and characterization of oligonucleotides utilizing established and published procedures, and technical and theoretical understanding.
Assumes responsibility for the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of oligo purification and analysis results.
Maintains lab supplies and various purification analytical instruments.
Summarizes experimental results, and reviews conclusions with supervisor/manager.
Works with oligo synthesis personnel to ensure smooth handoff of oligos from DNA Synthesis to Oligo Purification.
What we are looking for in a Scientist I/II - Oligo Purification:
Scientist I: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological/Life Sciences, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work-experience
Minimum 0 to 3 years related experience, preferred 1-3 years experience in oligonucleotide manufacturing.
Scientist II: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological/Life Sciences, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work-experience
Minimum 2 to 3 years related experience, preferred 4-5 years experience in oligonucleotide manufacturing.

$66,996 $79,996 (Dependent on Experience)
