Job Description
R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Scientist II in Pleasanton, CA.
Your main responsibilities as a Scientist II:
Routinely execute standard molecular biology techniques, from DNA extraction to target enrichment and next generation sequencing library preparation
Follow protocols precisely, and with extreme care under design control regulations and GMP laboratory conditions
Be comfortable with and able to adapt to regular protocol changes as protocols are being developed and improved
Regularly work with human biological samples including blood, plasma, tissue for nucleic acid extraction
Routinely process multiple samples with accuracy and consistency
What we are looking for in a Scientist II:
Bachelor s degree in Biological/Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field.
Ability to work under pressure with highly precious samples
Strong laboratory proficiency and experience with processing multiple samples with high degree of accuracy in a high through-put environment is preferred
Experience with high throughput pipetting on daily basis with single and multichannel pipettes with accuracy
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of programs, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint is preferred

Pay Scale:
$64,396 $87,360 (Dependent on Experience)
