Scientist III

R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Scientist III, Translational Research, Translational Medicine Oncology in South San Francisco, CA.

Your main responsibilities as a Scientist III, Translational Research, Translational Medicine Oncology:

This is a hands-on, lab-based position in which you will design, perform, and analyze in vitro and ex vivo experiments to validate biological and therapeutic hypotheses derived from clinical biomarker data, real-world data, and other sources.

Elucidate mechanisms of action and resistance to enable in-depth understanding of fundamental disease biology, as well as experimentally validate novel therapeutic targets.

Inform pharmacodynamic biomarker strategies for immunotherapies, tumor-targeted therapies, and combination therapies.

Collaborate with subject matter experts from across gRED to synthesize, integrate, and interpret experimental and computational findings to inform decision-making on key projects and programs.

What we are looking for in a Scientist III, Translational Research, Translational Medicine Oncology:

Ph.D. in Immunology, Cancer Biology, or related disciplines.

Alternatively, you hold a BS or MS degree in similar fields and a track record of scientific excellence and productivity.

Deep understanding of cancer immunology, oncogenic signaling pathways (RAS, PI3K), and translational drug development, as evidenced by first-author publications, patents, and past success in R&D.

Experience in NSCLC, SCLC, or CRC disease biology would be advantageous.

Expertise in independently leading lab-based research projects involving a wide repertoire of experimental techniques such as conventional/spectral flow cytometry, biochemistry, cell/molecular biology, and immune function assays.

$133,328 $168,740 (Dependent on Experience)
