Your main responsibilities as a Research Scientist I:

Performs polymer formulation and engineering in a research and development environment with minimum supervision

Use relevant statistical techniques and methods to plan and execute experiments and to analyze experimental data.

Develop new material for new contact lens and process based on in-depth understanding in polymer chemistry, materials technology, and lens production process.

Develop new synthetic methodologies, technique and equipment for lens formulation, fabrication, process, and characterization.

Demonstrate an in-depth understanding in structure-property-process relationship of hydrogel materials.

What we are looking for in a Research Scientist I:

PhD or MS in Chemistry, Polymer, Material Sciences or Chemical Engineering
