Research Scientist
Job Description
R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Research Scientist in Foster City, CA.
Your main responsibilities as a Research Scientist:
Conduct CRISPR nuclease screening and NGS library preparation.
Lead TLA and long-read sequencing using PacBio and/or Oxford Nanopore technologies.
Support process improvements for efficient and high-quality cell line generation.
Engage in hands-on laboratory operations, including molecular biology and bioreactor work.
Contribute to technical reports, regulatory filings, and cross-functional team meetings.
What we are looking for in a Research Scientist:
B.S/M.S. and ?10 years, Ph.D. and 0-2 years of experience in a relevant scientific discipline (biology, bioengineering, chemical engineering, biochemical engineering).
Excellent communication, technical report writing, and presentation skills and aptitude for creative problem solving.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Experience in statistics and data analysis (e.g. JMP, Spotfire).
Experience designing, constructing, and evaluating vectors to express recombinant proteins of various formats.

Pay Scale:
$66,776 $83,477 (Dependent on Experience)
