Research Associate

R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Research Associate II in South San Francisco, CA.

Your main responsibilities as a Research Associate II:

Perform library preparation for NGS, with a strong focus on high-throughput sample processing.

Operate and optimize automated library prep workflows on the Hamilton Vantage robot.

Conduct in-process quality control (QC) checks to ensure data integrity.

Troubleshoot and improve automation protocols for efficiency and accuracy.

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support large-scale genomics applications.

What we are looking for in a Research Associate II:

BSc in Biology or related field with hands-on research experience (academic or industry).

Prior experience with NGS library preparation and/or automated liquid handling systems is highly desirable.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Pay Scale:

$71,406 $90,480 (Dependent on Experience)
