Your main responsibilities as a Research Associate II:
Generate engineered cell lines using methods including stable integration (both lentivirus and piggybac) and CRISPR gene editing
Transfection/ gene editing optimization in cell lines
Troubleshoot protocols
Instrument maintenance
Maintain and quality check cell lines in culture
What we are looking for in a Research Associate II:
A self-motivated candidate with a (BS/ MS) + 3 years industry experience, or PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, or a related discipline.
Qualified candidates must have demonstrable strong mammalian cell culture techniques and ability to generate high-quality data.
Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and will be required to analyze and present data at team meetings.
The candidate should be team-oriented, highly organized both operationally and in silico, with the ability to multi-task across a diverse array of projects, and eager to learn new skills.
Prior expertise in some or all of the following: DNA/RNA/Protein extraction and quantification, molecular cloning, PCR, RT-PCR, ddPCR assay design and screening, FACS, transfection, CRISPR genome editing, siRNA/shRNA, SDS-PAGE, immunoblotting, cell-based assays, NGS, and viral vector development/use.

$25.52 - $45.13 (Dependent on Experience)
