Job Description

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will bring their experience with research and laboratory support and become part of a team supporting the development of therapeutic antibodies. They will work closely with scientists involved in the advancement of therapies for a wide variety of diseases and assist in antibody engineering, production and purification efforts.


Conduct in vivo pharmacology studies with antibodies or small molecules in rodent models

Hands-on administration of drug therapeutics via various routes, including IV, PO, IP, SC

Collect blood (survival and terminal) and other fluids and harvesting of tissue samples for analysis

Independently plan and execute experiments, including maintaining documentation and clinical measurements and observations

Support vivarium operations, upkeep of animal facility, monitor animal health and maintain inventory

Ensure compliance with animal welfare regulations

Work closely with scientists involved in the advancement of therapies for a wide variety of diseases and assist in in vivo efforts

Opportunity to learn new technical skills within the in vivo pharmacology group and in other functional areas.


Education and/or Experience:

Requires a BS/BA degree preferably in pharmacology, neuroscience or animal science and a minimum of 1 year experience in biotech/pharma industry with practical experience working in a research laboratory

Proficient in in vivo techniques, including dosing of agents by multiple routes (IV, PO, IP, SC)

Experience in study take-downs, blood and tissue collection for analysis
