Position Summary:

Top Diagnostic company is looking to hire Mass Spectrometry / Laboratory Scientist.

As a member of the biomarker mass spectrometry team, the ideal candidate will assist with the design and execution of mass spectrometry experiments including sample preparation, method development, method qualification, and data analysis in order to help improve assess biomarker candidates from using proteomic approaches.

Requirements:

Preferred candidates will have a BS, MS, or Ph.D. in analytical chemistry, statistics, bioengineering, bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, or a related field

Prior experience in designing, developing, and qualifying mass spectrometry assays

Experience in developing custom methods for sample preparation and MS analysis including solid phase extraction, protein precipitation, column desalting, etc

Preferred candidates will have experience with producing high-quality datasets from targeted LC-MS/MS experiments

Solid understanding of statistical concepts and algorithms to solve problems in biology, engineering, business, or medicine

Pay Scale:

Dependent on Experience

$37.01 - $64.47
