Position Summary:

A global leader in the Medical Device industry, this company is looking to hire Manufacturing Automation Engineer.

Follow all safety regulations, and promote positive safety behaviors

Plan and execute engineering project work with minimal supervision

Partner with production to identify windows for corrective/preventive action implementation and project work

Provide engineering and technical support for projects.

Provide technical support for safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Program PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and inspection systems.

Requirements:

Desired: Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering)

Detailed knowledge of discrete machine control; PowerFlex Drives, AB Integrated Motion (Kinetics), AB Safety PLCs, Gearboxes, Safety Circuits, Pneumatics, NEC codes, basic electrical wiring, etc.

Detailed knowledge of process control; S88 programing architecture, AB phase manager, GE Prophecy iBatch

Experience with SFC, Ladder, FBD, and structured text programing languages

Background in Computer Integrated Manufacturing data collection (DDE, OPC, Transaction Mangers)
