Your main responsibilities as a Lab Tech II:
Maintains the lab areas in a clean, orderly, and sanitized state. Performs a wide variety of routine laboratory duties.
Makes and records observations and performs simple calculations.
May use personal computer to perform technical and record keeping duties in conformance with company and regulatory policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.
May perform cell culture and chemical processing duties as it applies to supporting viral vector development in a multipurpose MSAT lab.
What we are looking for in a Lab Tech II:
BS or MS in biology, chemistry, or chemical engineering with 2-5 years of biotech industrial experience
Experience in perform basic cell culture and purification lab techniques based on the study design; know how to perform cell culture expansion in the biosafety hood, operate bioreactor controller, set up bench scale TFF and chromatography skids, etc.
Experience in data management; creating basic control charts through statistical software (JMP, etc.) and involve any out of trend investigation work.
Some experience with Getinge bioreactor controller, Cytiva Avant 150, NovaFlex, water bath, CO2 Shaking incubator, and Nucleocounters, etc.
Some experience in lab inventory management (raw materials/flasks/filters/assemblies/reagents) to support development studies.

Pay Scale:
$24.80 - $31.00 (Dependent on Experience)
