Job Description
R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Lab Tech/Assistant I in Tucson, AZ.
Your main responsibilities as a Lab Tech/Assistant I:
Performs daily, monthly and quarterly instrument and equipment maintenance and cleaning tasks.
Monitors and maintains usage logs for all equipment and instruments. Monitors, schedules and delivers portable equipment for calibration and maintains necessary paperwork.
Troubleshoots minor equipment malfunctions by performing operational tests.
Monitors and prepares bulk reagents daily.
Maintains stock room and monitors and/or orders lab supplies inventory.
What we are looking for in a Lab Tech/Assistant I:
H.S. Diploma or GED - REQUIRED
Some college experience - Pref
Previous laboratory experience - Pref
Experience with Ventana auto-stainers or other automated laboratory instrumentation - Pref
Able to work independently.- REQUIRED
