Our Bay Area pharmaceutical client is recruiting for a Drug Safety Associate to join their growing team

Summary:

• Perform routine coding reviews and respond to coding related queries in a timely manner
• Apply analytical skills and strong attention-to-detail to inform others on any potential medical coding issues
• Code Adverse Event and medical history terms with MedDRA Dictionary, and medication terms with WHODrug in accordance with coding conventions
• Collaborate with Clinical Data Management and other groups within Clinical Data Science to ensure timely completion of coding jobs and reviews
• Ensures work complies with established practices, policies and processes, and any regulatory or other requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Life Science with 4 plus years of biopharmaceutical experience
• Coding experience using MedDRA and/or WHODrug dictionaries
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and ICH-GCP guidelines
