Data Analytic Specialist
Job Description
Our biopharmaceutical client in the San Francisco Bay Area is recruiting for a Data Analytic Specialist.
Overview:
- Maintain and develop data conformance checking scripts and requirements
- Monitor data processing requests and submit data files to analysis pipelines
- Understand how to merge different data biomarker types with clinical data to generate analysis-ready data sets
- Work with Biomarker Operations Managers and Biometrics colleagues to understand the workflow and the impact of the data for the internal stakeholders
- Support design, implementation, and improvement of workflow/program processes
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Science or Computer Sciences with 5 plus years industry experience
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Proficiency in scripting languages in R and/ or Python
- Working knowledge of scientific research application development cycles and clinical data management principles
- Experience and/or familiarity using and developing BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik, SAP Analytics Cloud etc.) for non-technical end-user use
Pay Scale:
- $65 to $75/hour (Dependent on Experience)
