Job Description
R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Computational Scientist in South San Francisco, CA.
Your main responsibilities as a Computational Scientist:
Maintain bioinformatics and data infrastructure for research projects related to individualized cancer immunotherapy
Collaborate with computational biologists, AI scientists and engineers
Maintain excellent documentation, and data analysis practices to ensure reproducible data science
Present findings to the Cancer Immunogenomics group and collaborators.
What we are looking for in a Computational Scientist:
PhD (or Master's with significant experience) in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
Extensive experience in data and bioinformatics infrastructure (including curation, databases and workflows), particularly for AI/ML projects
Solid understanding of the relevant concepts in cancer immunology and enthusiasm for learning more
Broad understanding of data generated from one or more molecular assays: next generation sequencing platforms, ELIspot, mass spectrometry etc.
Proficiency in R, Python, and shell scripting.

Pay Scale:
$104,582 $168,133 (Dependent on Experience)
