Associate Research Scientist
Job Description
R&D Partners is seeking to hire an Associate Research Scientist in Lawrenceville, NJ.
Your main responsibilities as an Associate Research Scientist:
Works predominantly within established procedures
Works as a team member to complete in vivo studies to assess cardiac function following pre-established protocols and IACUC guidelines.
Provides weekend support to team in animal monitoring, compound dosing, sample collection, and lab activities
Collect, prepare, distribute various tissues for in vitro analysis and biomarker evaluation (e.g. WB, ELISA, histology)
May be required to breed and develop animal colonies
What we are looking for in an Associate Research Scientist:
Bachelor s Degree
2+ years of academic and / or industry experience
Small animal handling experience including dosing and blood collection by multiple routes
Experience working in a laboratory setting
Excellent communication and organizational skills applied to meet deadlines
