Job Description
R&D Partners is seeking to hire an Associate Director, Scientific Communications in San Rafael, CA.
Your main responsibilities as an Associate Director, Scientific Communications:
Develop and ensure timely execution of the scientific communication plan for company s program in skeletal condition conditions, with a focus on the US
Contribute to development and implementation of scientific messaging and maintain the Scientific Communication Platform
Ensure cross-functional alignment of messaging and strategies to address gaps
Develop expert knowledge of product- and disease-specific literature and oversee literature and gap analyses to support scientific message development and publication strategy
Organize and implement expert meetings necessary for publication strategy development; collaborate with colleagues and external experts to develop agenda and content, manage vendors, and attend and present as needed
What we are looking for in an Associate Director, Scientific Communications:
Advanced degree (MS or higher) in life or health sciences is required
7 or more years of relevant experience in scientific communications, publication planning and/or medical writing within a pharmaceutical company or medical writing agency
2 or more years managing direct reports is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interpret, analyze and communicate complex scientific data

Pay Scale:
$134,018 $167,531 (Dependent on Experience)
