Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports and applies Six Sigma tools and techniques to define, measure, analyze, improve and control processes to help the company achieve goals.
Facilitate cross-functional expert teams to drive breakthrough or Best-in-Class performance in People, Quality, Material Flow, and Cost.
Own the continuous improvement process from start to finish; scope projects, gain leadership support, form effective teams, and facilitate project completion.
Provide expertise in deploying Lean and Six Sigma programs and initiatives.
Provides basic Six Sigma training to project team members.
Provide in-depth analysis and reporting of site performance data.
Use performance data to identify, rank, quantify and prioritize improvement projects based on impact to quality, complexity, and resource requirements.
Provide regular updates on project status and progress; work to remove obstacles to success and roadblocks.
Prepares detailed plans to track project performance and assure timely completion and achievement of quality and savings goals.
Identifies barriers to project success and solicits help from champions when needed.
Attends required training and acquires needed skills.
Documents improvement process learning and shares best practices.
Identifies and brings forward new project opportunities.
All other tasks as assigned

Project Management Skills. Ability to organize and schedule people and tasks, use goals to guide actions and create detailed action plans, manager multiple projects.
Has shown initiative, the desire to drive change and is motivated to exceed expectations.
Possesses basic statistical knowledge and the ability to apply statistics to product and process improvement projects.
Proficiency with statistical and data visualization tools e.g. Microsoft, Minitab, etc.
Execution oriented, with a strong sense of urgency around tangible results
Has demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise influence without formal authority.
Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams to achieve a common goal.
Strong written and oral communication/presentation skills.
Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment with little supervision.
Is regarded as objective, open-minded and an out-of-the-box thinker.
Relevant Bachelor s Degree: preferably in Industrial Engineering, Quality.
Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred; or, successfully obtain certification within the first 6 months or first available.
3-5 years experience applying process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) and/or engineering methodologies and principles in a complex environment.
