Our team is focusing on translational development to develop target validation approaches, define appropriate disease models, and catalyze early engagement between Discovery and Early Development teams to define biomarkers and patient selection strategies. We also work with Clinical Pharmacology to define starting doses and schedules for dose escalation in Phase 1 studies. Rational combinations of novel molecules is also a focus.
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our translational development group. The successful candidate will have extensive experience performing laboratory work, including handling cell cultures and performing analysis of protein and DNA / RNA samples using a variety of methodologies. Experienced in the design and development of cell based assays using various technology platforms. The candidate will use current (or new) techniques to address questions of drug mechanism of action, drug differentiation and drug sensitivity / resistance. Experience in epigenetics is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSA s):
Requires a Master s degree in a scientific discipline with at least 4 years work experience, or Bachelor s degree with at least 6 years work experience in cancer research.
Strong hands-on experience in mammalian cell cultures and molecular techniques (DNA/RNA, PCR, western).
Prior RA experience either in academia or/and industry
Core cell biology skills including cell-based assays for growth / viability and signal transduction
Cell-based high throughput assays, siRNA, shRNA, CRISPR etc.
Microscopy, immunoprecipitation, chromatin precipitation, ELISA etc.
Immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence techniques
Knowledge of oncology and immunology is a plus

Able to conduct experimental work independently, with accurate, detailed record-keeping
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Prepare and discuss scientific data in a clear, concise and accurate manner
