Project Manager, Global Supply Planning

This position will support projects for Global Supply Planning and/or Global Planning Logistics and Data. He/she will be responsible for the organization of the day-to-day activities for these projects, manage critical path activities and risks, assist in the development of contingency plans, manage overall project planning, set cross-functional team meetings, and develop meeting minutes / presentations for management. This role requires the ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative and cooperative working relationships with team members across different functions and at different levels within the organization.

The roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage multiple, low to medium complexity cross-functional Supply Chain Planning projects, with focus on helping to develop system, process and inventory optimization strategies with the brand / team lead, as well as driving the execution of the projects
Responsible for developing and coordinating resource planning across the Supply Planning team to assure that adequate resources are being applied to the projects
Effectively manage team meetings, including the scheduling of meetings, the preparation of agendas, the development of meeting minutes, and the follow up on action items, while doing so using the standardized tools developed by GPDO Business Operations
With input from the team leader and members, lead the team in the development of an integrated timeline, while ensuring alignment with overall Supply Planning priorities
Track the various parts of the timelines with the sub-teams and bring issues to the leader s attention
Proactively identify project risks and work with the brand / team lead on the development of contingency plans
In conjunction with the brand lead and team, develop critical path analyses to identify potential ways to accelerate timelines and mitigate risks
Responsible for the preparation of monthly status reports
Promote a culture of collaboration, cooperation, execution excellence, effective communication and cross-functional problem-solving to become a high-performing team.
Ensure that team recommendations related to project direction and timelines which need endorsement by management or Decision Committees are planned at the appropriate timepoints

Understanding of supply chain processes (Demand and Supply Planning)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Demonstrated ability to earn the trust of team members and management
Must be able to interact and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Must be competent in Project Management tools and methodologies
Excellent organizational and time management skills

Bachelor s degree with a minimum of 2 yrs. Supply Chain experience / 3 yrs. Project Management experience or equivalent. PMP certification desirable
