Manager, Global Medical Information

Develops knowledge and expertise in assigned therapeutic area(s) and product(s). Monitors the medical literature/guidelines for company product(s) and relevant competitor data; analyzes the information for relevance and appropriately synthesizes the data for inclusion in medical information (MI) content and other materials. Provides written or verbal responses to individuals requesting medical information on company products by evaluating the scientific merits of published information and extracting pertinent data from the scientific literature. Provides support for MI affiliate escalations by conducting an in-depth analysis of published and unpublished data and engaging cross-functional colleagues to identify appropriate resources to utilize in addressing complex inquiries.
Conducts medical review to ensure medical accuracy, currency and scientific balance of promotional and scientific communications materials produced by internal business partners. Analyzes global customer inquiry data to identify trends and knowledge gaps. Serves as a therapeutic team resource for product information for both internal and external customers and participates in cross functional initiatives, as needed.

Must be able to work with limited day-to-day supervision.

Pharm.D. or Ph.D. in a pharmaceutical science preferred
RPh or RN with previous pharmaceutical industry-based Drug Information experience considered
1-3 years of Drug Information, or related Clinical Pharmacy Practice/Managed Care experience required
