Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage test samples and controlled substances, includes samples receiving and
tracking, maintaining test sample inventories, distributing samples for testing and
Prepare and submit samples to contract laboratories. Track sample testing
progress and test results of samples tested at contract testing laboratories.
Perform physical and analytical chemistry testing on samples.
Assist laboratory analysts in preparing analytical reagents and sample solutions.
Take inventory and order laboratory supplies.
Clean laboratory glassware.
Perform laboratory housekeeping.
Basic knowledge of cGMP and laboratory safety practice.
Good documentation practices.
Ability to recognize when test results do not meet required specifications or are
Good organizational skills.
Detail oriented and able to produce work with a high degree of accuracy.
HS Diploma w/ 5yrs in pharmaceutical exp. or Assoc. Degree in
Chemistry or other Life Sciences w/ 2 yrs. pharmaceutical exp. or BS/BA in Chemistry or other Life Sciences.
