PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION: - LIMS Administration for Lab Functions
This position is responsible for supporting, implementing and managing enterprise Laboratory Systems technology platform. In this role, the incumbent will support business functions for governance related activities and cross-functional partnerships and collaborations. This role will support global enterprise LabWare LIMS platform for business-related activities including, master data management, training and end user support. This role has global responsibility and cross functional influence that has a high degree of impact on departmental performance, broad quality initiatives, Quality Control, Quality Operations and the Business.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must have advanced GMP, Quality, and in-depth risk management knowledge.
Must be able to effectively prepare and convey data analysis to management and others within a group with clarity and accuracy;
Must have broadening technical and scientific knowledge. Must be able to analyze complex data in areas specific to job function at an advanced level;
Most have strong authorship and be able to critically review reports while effectively inputting and expressing Quality risk management principles.
Must be action-oriented and customer-focused and skilled in decision-making, building relationships, problem solving, conflict management, planning and organizing, resource allocation, coaching others, and analytical thinking. Must possess an independent mindset and tenacity.
Completes routine tasks with limited supervision; Work is self-directed
Builds and leverages relationships and provides input internally within function and with global cross-functional teams. Shows basic negotiation skills within work group and team.
Laboratory expertise in testing, methods, and variety of laboratory processes required
LabWare LIMS experience for master data management required
LIMS Basic (novice) experience preferred
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Relevant college or university degree in a scientific and/or clinical area of study required
GMP laboratory experience desired
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
Hands on LabWare 7 LIMS experience with Pharma template preferred
Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute
