IT Training Associate
Newark Metro Area, NJ
Bachelors degree required; in Education-related, Business or Communications preferred
- Expertise working within Learning Management Systems required
- Expertise with MS Office suite required
In support of restructuring, facilitate the transition of the below activities from current training team in order to maintain continuity of business:
Understand IT business, operating units, policies/procedures, roles and relationships.
Work with manager and, occasionally, liaise with ITSLT for directional insights.
Gain insights and inputs on training objectives from ITLT (or delegates) and managers.
Propose, architect (or update) IT training and curricula for each role (including contractors).
Liaise with corporate training function regarding mandated-corporate training.
Point of contact to answer IT training policies/procedures during audit and business interactions; track corrective and preventive actions/commitments related to IT training.
Monitor and report training performance and compliance posture.
Alert managers and staff of overdue training or non-compliance issues.
Collaborate with relevant IT managers and leads during onboarding and offboarding of workforce, from the training perspective.
Manage team budget (T&E, training/education, conferences, and small projects).
Provide consultation and guidance to training application administrator on tool/process interactions.
Work with manager to understand IT curricula architecture and decisions.
Create or build curricula based on roles.
Design and develop scalable content, instruction-set, training modules using tools/technology
Manage curricula assignments (or one-off training assignment) to IT workforce.
Manage and deliver classroom-type training instruction, where needed.
Train the trainers.
Conduct training review of controlled policies and procedures.
Support internal and external audits and queries, from the IT training perspective.
Point of contact for retrieving system-generated training completion records.
Analyze and grant equivalencies for training qualification.
Create, update, or disable training accounts in the training system.
Develop content and voice-over for SCORM modules.
Add or remove training assignments to IT workforce.
Maintain the IT training website and content.
Review and accept external training material for storage.
