This role is responsible for supporting the Global Medical Affairs Disease Teams in a project management capacity. This role will focus on the execution of tactics derived from the overall program strategy. The incumbent will report functionally to the head of Global Medical Affairs Strategic Planning, but day to day to the Global Medical Affairs Disease Team
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
Managing the development of the relevant strategy-related documents and manage the subsequent Global trainings associated with the strategy updates. Develop communication and training decks as required.
Collaborate and align with cross functional stakeholders, including Project Leadership, Scientific Communications, Clinical R&D, to communicate team strategy and deliverable milestones.
Manage the development of the launch toolkit
On behalf of the team, collaborate with Finance business partners to develop the yearly budget forecast and provide monthly/quarterly progress updates.
Develop awareness of relevant internal and external trial milestones and outcomes that may influence Global strategy or tactics
Support CU, Named Patient, Expanded Access programs where necessary
Lead/support ad board planning, logistics, and content development.
Manage KOL related activities such as mapping, touchpoints, engagements, congress planning
Manage internal and external education initiatives surrounding disease landscape, MOA, etc.
Collaborate with Corporate Medical Affairs/Sci Com to align and manage abstract submissions to congresses and peer reviewed journals where necessary; manage Congress booth development and logistics where necessary
Act as cross functional liaison where necessary, other ad hoc requests
Establish partner relationships and manage vendor related activities (SOW, contracting, logistics, etc) vendors on behalf of the team
Maintain high level and detailed timelines ensuring they are aligned with Franchise, Disease Team, and asset timelines

Bachelor s degree with a minimum 5 years of pharma experience (scientific education background with a Masters or PharmD desirable)
Exceptional project management skills with ability to multitask and manage multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional, cross-regional, and cross-franchise environment
Strong customer focus with the ability to actively listen to customer needs and expectations
Manage execution by persistent follow-up and driving results
Identify project risks and support resolving project issues
Exceptional computer skills (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and familiarity with managing web-based applications
Strong ability to influence outcomes without direct authority and ability to hold oneself and others accountable for commitments
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and work in a matrix environment with strong team collaboration
Basic understanding of hematology/oncology malignancies, but ability to understand the disease area content and team strategy in order to maximize on deliverables and contribution
General understanding of Medical Affairs functions and deliverables
