Customer Service - Operations Associate

Prepare order documentation including PO, airway bills and special instructions
Routinely fulfill and package domestic and international orders for shipments based on required procedures, including packaging according to product specifications (temperature and geographical requirements).
Communicate regularly with other members of Operations/Sales team regarding order priority and product shipment details
Track shipments to delivery and communicate exceptions to Sales in a timely manner.
Create and place purchase orders.
Unpack, check goods received against purchase orders or invoices and stock to inventory.
Assist in monitoring and maintaining raw materials inventory.
BS/BA degree Biology or equivalent experience
Experience in a material handling, inventory management, or shipping setting a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office, experience in inventory systems a plus
Able to function effectively in a changing and dynamic environment
Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, quality focused and self-motivated
Ability to organize and prioritize work load to meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
This is an Entry level position
