Will design and manufacture therapeutic nanoparticles and develop analytical and physical characterization assays, analyze samples and interpret results for characterization of protein-targeted nanoparticles in a highly collaborative early development environment.
This is a hands-on, laboratory-based role.
B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or closely-related discipline with an emphasis in targeted nanoparticles
A minimum of 6+ years of relevant industrial experience. Ph.D. or M.S. is preferred. Must have experience in nanoparticle formulation and nanoparticle drug delivery.
Must have previous experience and technical proficiency with HPLC, gel-based and other methods for analysis and quantification of small molecules, proteins and antibodies.
Must have previous experience and technical proficiency in the physical characterization of nanoparticles, including particle sizing.
Familiarity with lab-scale nanoparticle preparation techniques is preferred.
Familiarity with conjugation of proteins to nanoparticles and characterization of conjugated nanoparticles is preferred.
Experience with mAbs is preferred.
Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration and problem solving skills.
Ability to document work and proven record of scientific technical writing.
