Job Description
R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Research Associate in San Diego, CA.
Your main responsibilities as a Research Associate:
Develop and implement relevant cell-based and biochemical assays to support identification, optimization, and characterization of novel chemical matter
Develop and construct cell lines and tools for Mechanism of Action (MoA) studies
3Design and conduct critical experiments using expertise in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry and assay development to support MoA studies
Execute routine assays in a consistent and timely manner
Document, analyze, and present data in an organized and timely manner
What we are looking for in a Research Associate:
Bachelor s degree in biology or related disciplines with a minimum of one year (preferably two years) of relevant experience.
Excellent sterile technique with mammalian cell culture is required.
Experience with transfection, lentiviral transduction, CRISPR KO, and shRNA knock downs is a plus.
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with selected molecular techniques and cell-based assays, such as western blotting, DNA and RNA isolation, cell proliferation assays, cell cycle assays, apoptosis assays, MSD, incucyte, and flow cytometry
Strong data analysis and data handling skills including Excel, PowerPoint, GraphPad PRISM

Pay Scale:
$72,134 $90,181 (Dependent on Experience)
