Preclinical Lab Tech

Preclinical Lab Tech to work in our Preclinical Sciences and Biology Departments.
The ideal candidate will be able to start in June and work part-time for up to 20 hours/week.
Applicants must have in vivo handling experience, ideally in rodents, with a strong desire to further their in vivo skill set.
The ideal candidate will be highly detail oriented, able to accurately follow protocols, excited to learn, possess strong record keeping skills, and enjoy the challenges of working in a fast-paced team environment.
Participate in various in vivo studies in collaboration with preclinical and biology teams
Experimental set-up and data collection
Prepare detailed summary of studies in laboratory notebook and arrange for peer review
In vitro experiments to support Preclinical/Biology groups
Other responsibilities as assigned
Currently enrolled in university program working toward BS in a related scientific discipline
Laboratory in vivo experience desired but not required
Some experience in animal handling (dosing/blood collection) desired but not required
Comfortable using computers, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs,
e-mail, and internet.
