Manufacturing Technician

This position will perform assembly and/or packaging of laboratory devices and components under GLP.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Perform a wide variety of tasks and processes that are required to build, assemble, inspect, and package instruments in a controlled manufacturing environment

Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and company standards

Check product for overall quality and workability

Perform various inspection and/or testing as required

Complete any necessary documentation

Perform various computer functions

Assist engineering for the introduction of new or improved products into production

Perform other duties as necessary.

Key Competencies:
Ability to read/write/understand product documentation and specification drawings written in English.

Ability to actively participate in a teamwork environment that maintains a high performance culture

Successful completion of all job-related tests required to perform essential functions of the job

Ability to use small measuring devices and gauges

Basic computer entry/retrieval skills

Good organizational skills

Detail-oriented

Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or GED

1+ year of prior experience in manufacturing or health care, preferably in the production of medical devices
