Laboratory Technician/Assistant I

Safety/Housekeeping: Keep work areas clean and free of hazards or dangerous conditions. Follow all safety regulations and promote positive safety behaviors. Report unsafe work conditions and/or behaviors and maintain audit readiness.
Planning: Ensure supplies and equipment are available to meet schedules. Plan and schedule work activities based on production and project schedules and input from external function groups.
Technical: Perform activities that ensure required quality and safety standards are met for our products. Knowledge of systems required to perform job function, such as: inventory systems, release systems for intermediate and finished goods, laboratory information management systems, change control, databases, deviation management systems, approval/quarantine systems, document management systems, audit support, logbook processing, after market/production support, and/or MBR review systems. Knowledge of Laboratory Equipment Validation requirements is recommended.
Team: Cooperate and support coworkers to enhance overall capability of the organization. Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting of issues. Support the needs of the project to facilitate successful completion. Coordinate / Support other departments to ensure smooth execution of project/work. Communicate effectively with quality, production, maintenance, warehouse, contractors, and other external functions as required.
Other duties as required.
Demonstrated excellent written/verbal/interpersonal/communication and ability to perform effectively in a fast paced, team oriented environment. Experience with laboratory requirements and equipment. Fluent in English. Experience with laboratory equipment validation is a plus.
BS in Science (Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy).
