Customer Experience Lab Technician

The headcount is part of the Non-standard MS&T project budget and will be used to backfill a CEE engineer leading the complaints for the Handpiece products.
The current engineer leading this effort is needed to support the Handpiece cable degradation and tune failure/moisture ingress investigation and mitigation qualification.
The primary activities this backfill technician will be responsible for include:
1) Perform functional testing and root cause investigation of returned products involving optical, electronic, electro-optical, electro-mechanical, and opto-mechanical,
2) Documenting test results and providing feedback to Quality Engineers within the team, and
3) Perform quality assurance testing following established methods and procedures. The person will have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in electro-mechanical medical devices, and in-depth root cause problem solving/analysis is desired.
