Administrative Assistant, Sr.

Provide administrative support to at least two business development attorneys in legal department, including the Vice President, Legal Business Development and a senior corporate counsel. Given the dynamic nature of the work, we are looking for someone who is very comfortable taking the initiative and being proactive. In addition, the position involves interaction at all levels within the Company and access to sensitive information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications is required.
Take key role and responsibility for organizing the activities of a busy team of lawyers.
Providing day-to-day administrative support, including: managing schedules, setting-up meetings, travel arrangements, expense reports, legal invoices, maintaining detailed project list, telephone coverage, and general clerical support (scanning, copying, ordering supplies, etc.)
Interacting and collaborating with business development clients, senior management and their administrative support.
Implementing/organizing/maintaining files, records, and share drives.
Strong work ethic.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel (person needs Excel for Pivot Tables and PowerPoint for slide decks and to know how to manipulate tables in Excel and import and adjust for PowerPoint/Word and this will be needed on a fairly regular basis).
Seven years minimum experience as administrative/executive assistant (with a law firm or a legal department preferred).
Ability to work independently, while acting as a team player.
Strong attention to detail, organization and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Knowledge and understanding of the organization, programs, and procedures related to the work of a corporate law department or law firm is preferred.
Experience supporting transactions (licensing, M&A, etc.) a plus.
